AT Reporter · current version 1.11

Publish your MT4 / MT5 results live, free and read-only

AT Reporter is a small read-only EA. It sends your closed history and open positions to algotrade.ltd, so anyone can watch the account live: floating P/L, max floating drawdown, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly results.

  • Read-only: it never opens, closes or changes a trade
  • No investor password needed; your broker password never leaves your terminal
  • Works with any broker, demo, cent or real, MT4 and MT5

1. Request a member login

The EA logs in to algotrade.ltd with a member login we issue. One login can report many accounts.

Conditions

  • MetaTrader 4 or 5 on Windows (PC or VPS). Mobile apps cannot run EAs.
  • The terminal stays open and connected; for 24/7 updates use a VPS.
  • A member login from AlgoTrade (form above).
  • You agree the account appears publicly on the leaderboard (you can switch it off with InpPublic = false).

Set up in 5 steps

  1. Get MetaTrader

Already using MT4/MT5 with your broker? Skip this. Otherwise MetaTrader 5 from MetaQuotes works with any broker: after install, go to File → Open an Account and type your broker's name to find its server. MT4 is only available from brokers.

  2. Download AT Reporter

In MetaTrader: File → Open Data Folder, then open MQL5/Experts (MT4: MQL4/Experts) and copy the file there. Back in MetaTrader, right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator and choose Refresh. MT5: nothing to compile. MT4: open the file with MetaEditor (F4) and press F7 once first.

Want to read the code first? It is open: AT_Reporter.mq5 · AT_Reporter.mq4. Put it in the same folder, open it with MetaEditor (F4) and press F7 to compile it yourself.

  3. Allow the website address

Tools → Options → Expert Advisors: tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL, double-click the empty line and paste https://algotrade.ltd , then click OK. Make sure Algo Trading (MT4: AutoTrading) is on in the toolbar.

Simplified drawing, not a screenshot. MetaTrader's window looks a little different in each version.

MetaTrader does not let any EA add this address by itself, so this one step is manual. If it is missing, AT Reporter shows a popup with the address and connects by itself once you add it.

  4. Attach to one chart and fill the inputs

Drag AT Reporter onto any one chart of the account (one chart per account is enough). In the Inputs tab:

    InputWhat to enter
InpUser / InpPassYour AlgoTrade member login (not your broker password)
InpModelThe name shown on the leaderboard, e.g. your EA or strategy name
InpModetrade (report each order) or cycle (report each basket/cycle)
InpPublictrue to show on the leaderboard
InpMagic-1 for the whole account, or one EA's magic number
InpBeatSecUpdate interval in seconds; 60 is fine
InpResetDatafalse. Set true once only to wipe the website data and upload again, then set it back to false
InpRefCapital0 (use balance for %). Only change if we ask
  5. Check it works

Open the Experts tab at the bottom of MetaTrader. You should see AT Reporter: connected, then full history uploaded (large histories take a few minutes). Your account appears on the leaderboard within about a minute.

Messages you may see: allow WebRequest… → redo step 3. login failed (401) → check InpUser/InpPass, no spaces. network error → check the internet or VPS connection. Running a version older than 1.11? Download it again above and replace the file.

Questions

Can AT Reporter trade or change my orders?

No. It only reads history and open positions and sends them to algotrade.ltd.

What data is public?

Model name, last 4 digits of the account number, platform, demo/cent/real, balance, floating and closed P/L, percentages, open and closed orders. Never your name or passwords.

Can I stop it?

Remove the EA from the chart. Set InpPublic to false to hide the account while still recording it.

Does it work with several EAs on one account?

Yes. Leave InpMagic at -1 to report the whole account.

How is AT Reporter different from Myfxbook or FX Blue?

Myfxbook and FX Blue are large, mature tracking sites. AT Reporter is a small free EA that sends your history and open trades straight to the AlgoTrade leaderboard, where every account is shown next to its drawdown and measured with the same time-weighted return. You can use it next to them.

Do I have to share my investor password?

No. The EA runs inside your own MetaTrader terminal and sends the data out, so you never give anyone a password. It also works when the terminal is logged in with an investor (read-only) password.

Can my EA send its trade history to a website?

Yes, that is what AT Reporter does: it posts your closed deals and open positions to algotrade.ltd every minute. The public numbers of all public accounts are also in a JSON feed at /api/live.json.
