Privacy Policy
AlgoTrade Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202425185M), 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422 respects your privacy and follows Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This page explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. What we collect
- From our forms: your name, email, phone / WhatsApp / Zalo (optional), your topic and message, and your consent choices.
- Automatically: the page you used, link tags (such as utm_source), and visit data from Google Analytics, which uses cookies.
- When you email or message us, or join our WhatsApp community: what you send us and your phone number.
- Your AlgoTrade account: your email, username and display name; your password, stored only as a one-way hash that we cannot read; your two-step login settings; and a record of logins, downloads and agreement acceptance, with the time, IP address and browser type.
- From AlgoTrade Connect, if you install it: your MT4/MT5 account number, broker server and company, platform, account currency, real or demo, balance and equity, closed trades and open positions. A new account is private until you choose to show it. Public pages show only the last 4 digits of the account number.
We never ask for your broker or trading-account passwords. AlgoTrade Connect runs inside your own MetaTrader and does not send them.
2. Why we use it
- To send and renew your read-only investor login.
- To answer your message and run the research cohort.
- To send research updates by email, only if you agreed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To run your account and AlgoTrade Insights: show your results and insights, keep your login secure, and send account emails (email check, password reset, login alerts).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
3. Where it is kept and who sees it
- Data is kept in our company email, Google Workspace and our email service provider (Brevo), and may be stored outside Singapore. We use providers that protect data to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
- Account and AlgoTrade Connect data is kept on our web server, outside the public website folder.
- We share data only with service providers that run our tools, or when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can refuse or clear them in your browser settings. When you log in, we also set one login cookie; the account does not work without it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while we are in contact with you and for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless the law requires longer. Then we delete it. Account and AlgoTrade Connect data is kept while your account is open; if you close your account or ask us, we delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
7. Security
We limit access to your data to the people who need it and use secure, password-protected services.
8. Age
This website is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Contact and changes
