1. High-risk trading
Trading leveraged products such as gold (XAUUSD) and forex CFDs involves significant risk and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose all the money you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. If you are unsure, speak to a licensed independent financial adviser.
2. Risks of our published records
- Our own accounts: our records come from our own accounts, some of them small cent accounts. Results may not be achievable at other sizes, brokers or times.
- Drawdowns: our models can and do have deep drawdowns. Each model page shows its live maximum drawdown next to its return. A model may not recover.
- Models stop working: a model that has done well can stop working at any time.
- Our own tools: scores, rankings and charts on this site are our own research tools, not independent ratings. Sample or illustrative data is clearly labelled and is not a result.
- Past results: past results, rankings and awards do not predict future results.
3. Electronic trading risks
Trading platforms can fail because of hardware, software, internet or broker problems. We do not control internet connections, the broker's systems or your devices.
4. Accuracy of information
Information on this website can change without notice. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it. Always check information yourself.
5. Our role
AlgoTrade is a research firm. We publish how models trade on real and demo accounts. We do not give financial advice, deal in capital markets products for others or manage funds. Nothing here is a personal recommendation. AlgoTrade Pte. Ltd. is not licensed or regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
6. Your responsibility
If you decide to trade, you do so on your own, with your own broker, at your own risk. AlgoTrade gives no guarantee of profit or against loss. Speak to a licensed adviser if you need advice.
